About Event

Join us as we celebrate the first graduating cohort of the AI Leaders Micro-Credential - a workforce-focused program built on WordPress and Open Source contribution with students from UIC, LaTech, and ULL.

Over the past several months, these students have done real work: building practical AI skills, contributing to actual WordPress projects, and earning a recognized credential in the process. This event is a chance to mark that milestone together and see what's possible when education, open source, and opportunity align.

Emceed by Jesse Friedman, the evening will feature remarks from Matt Mullenweg and Em Shreve, alongside Blake Bertuccelli-Booth and Dr. Aisha El-Amin
