Repro46 Open House, Open Minds
What is it? Open House, Open Minds is a friendly, judgment free conversation about reproductive health care and abortion in Oklahoma, hosted in someone’s home—kind of like a book club, but focused on real talk. It’s a chance to slow down, listen, reflect, and connect more deeply with others, even if they see things differently
What to expect? These conversations are open and welcoming to people across the political spectrum. During the conversation, you can expect a respectful, facilitated dialogue that centers on personal stories, values, and lived experiences related to reproductive health care. It's not a debate, but rather a chance to listen, reflect, and connect with others in a thoughtful, judgment-free space. Our goal is not here to change minds— we hope participants will move from judgment to empathy.
Safe space: These conversations are designed for participants to share their beliefs, experiences, and feelings about abortion and reproductive health care. That said, there’s no pressure to speak—listening is just as valuable. If someone prefers not to share, they are welcome to simply be present. What’s shared in an Open House, Open Minds conversation stays within the group.
