Co-Working Day at Carnegie Innovation
FemTech Leeds is teaming up with Carnegie Innovation at Leeds Beckett University's Sport HealthTech Incubator, for a day out of the city centre, at one of the region's most interesting spaces for sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing innovation.
Carnegie Innovation is based in Fairfax Hall, on the Leeds Beckett's Headingley campus, right in the middle of a world-leading sport and health research environment. You'll get to work from the space for the day, take a look around the facilities if you want to, and hear directly from the people who use them.
Throughout the day we're running short, informal talks over coffee, so if a topic catches your interest you can drop in, listen, ask questions, and get back to work.
Themes and topics include:
Validation: making sure what you're building is backed by research
Commercialisation pathways: real examples from academics who've supported businesses to market
Health inequalities research: evidence, measurement and evaluation
Designing accessible services and products
It's a genuinely relaxed way to get some work done, have a look around the campus, and learn more about the support and expertise availble for your idea or innovation.
