CCL: Level Up Lobbying

​After a great 2025 legislative session in which we our efforts led to the NY state legislature repealing the "100-ft rule," we're setting our sights even higher for 2026.

​CCL Brooklyn will be joined by Roberto Celestin, professional lobbyist and Managing Partner at WeBridge Solutions, for a masterclass in lobbying. Are you new to the climate or environmental justice movement and want to build confidence before talking to elected officials? Are you an experienced volunteer lobbyist? Whatever your background, this event will level up your lobbying and give you a better sense of how the legislative sausage gets made in Albany.

​6:30 - Doors open. Settle in, chow down (we'll have food for you), get excited.

​7:00-8:00 - Event begins. CCL will cover the basics of how bills get passed in NY state, then Roberto will give us the behind the scenes story. We'll talk about how we've found success in our previous lobbying strategies, and Roberto will show us how the pros do it.
