About Event

Join us for a conversation on how AI is reshaping research, service design, and the way we work.

We'll hear from two practitioners who are actively exploring AI in their day-to-day practice:

Amelia Guimarin, Director & Senior Consultant at Spatial Research & Design, will explore AI through the lens of the Double Diamond framework. She’ll discuss how AI can be used to enhance experiences, and share key considerations for incorporating AI into service design and delivery—both as a methodology and as a solution.

Hannah Kim, Senior Research Manager on Visa’s Product & Experience Design team, will explore how to speed up with AI and slow down for what matters. She’ll share a practical perspective on how the real prompt happens before you open the tool, and how conversations and team alignment shape better AI outputs in research and service design work.

After the talk, we’ll break into small groups to share wins, missteps, and open questions as we explore how we’re using (or avoiding) AI in our design practices.
