10/25 Agroforestry Community Planting: Established Strip Tending

​Join us for a hands-on community planting day at our farm in Upper Ojai as we tend to and renew some of our older plantings.

​Together, we’ll learn practical skills for thinning, densifying, replacing, and expanding established plantings — understanding when plants need more space, when to add new ones, and how thoughtful maintenance can help a planting thrive over time.

​These are skills you can take home and apply in your own garden, farm, homestead, or community, giving you the confidence to care for and evolve perennial landscapes for years to come.

​Come get your hands in the soil, learn alongside others, and help us nurture what’s already growing while making space for what’s next.

​Itinerary:
8:45AM: Gates open/ arrival
9:00AM: Opening Circle
9:15AM: Introduction, Theory, & Instruction
9:45AM: Get Hands On! (plus Q&A)
12:15PM: Closing Circle
12:30PM: Departure

Attendance for this Agroforestry Series is by donation, and no one is sent away for lack of funds.
