Some of the most meaningful career breakthroughs don’t happen in formal workshops or large networking events.
They happen in simple, honest conversations — often sitting across from someone over coffee — talking about career direction, ambition, mistakes, confusion, and everything that exists between success and failure.
That’s exactly the kind of space we want to create with this 'Coffee chat with mentors' initiative in Halifax.
For Chat #1, we are bringing to you, two mentors: Parth and Meet Patel, who will be sharing their experiences while engaging directly with your questions, doubts and career journeys. They will also be there to provide 1:1 reviews to your resumes, LinkedIn & cover letters and share what's worked for them.

This is not a lecture.
Not a panel.
Instead, it’s an intimate group conversation (20 people max) where you’ll sit down over coffee with mentors and peers to talk openly about what navigating careers actually looks like.
Together, we’ll explore conversations around:
• Figuring out your career direction — even when things feel messy
• Navigating the job search without losing confidence
• Building credibility and experience when you're just starting out
• Lessons mentors wish they had known earlier in their careers
• What actually helps you move forward when you're feeling stuck
The conversation will be gently guided to keep it intentional and valuable, but the goal is to create a shared space where everyone can ask questions, exchange perspectives, and learn from each other.
No pressure.
No awkward networking energy.
No formal presentations.
Just good coffee and meaningful conversations with thoughtful people.
