Bahn Express founder story: from Aalto students to €5M seed round

​Bahn Express was founded in 2024 to solve a logistics problem in the European used car market.

​The team built a network of 500+ independent drivers across Europe. When you order a pickup, a driver moves immediately. No waiting for full trucks. This cuts delivery times to just 2 days.

​At this moment, Bahn Express has a network of 100+ trusted dealerships, and they have already expanded to Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Poland, with Netherlands and France coming in 2026.

​Recently Bahn secured a €5M seed round supported by node.vc and other investors. We invited Matias Blomberg (CEO) and Leevi Jäkälä (CTO) to share their story and learnings!
