Base44 X Contextral Build & Secure Workshop @ NJIT

Describe an app in plain English and watch Base44 build it, with logins, a database and hosting already set up. Then do the part most tutorials skip: lock it down before anyone else touches it.
We’ll start with a live build so you see a full app come together from start to finish. Then it’s your turn. Build your own, set access rules so each user only sees their own data, keep your API keys in secrets, and run Base44’s security scan to catch exposed keys and missing logins before you publish.
When: Thursday, November 5, 2026, 3:00 to 5:00 PM ET
Where: Campus Center Atrium, NJIT. Open to all, not just NJIT students.
Bring: A laptop. That’s it. No coding experience needed. Everyone who signs in gets free Base44 credits.

3:00 PM: Doors open, sign in and grab food
3:10 to 3:20 PM: Kickoff and intros
3:20 to 3:40 PM: Live build on Base44
3:40 to 4:20 PM: Build time!
4:20 to 4:40 PM: Lock it down: access rules, secrets and security scan
4:40 to 5:00 PM: Demos and wrap up
