From Pilot To Normal: Scaling All-Electric Buildings In NYC
New York’s building sector is moving from early all-electric case studies toward broader market adoption, driven in part by Local Law 154’s building electrification requirements and Local Law 97’s carbon limits. This Climate Week event will bring together panelists from Alloy Development, Perkins Eastman, and NYSERDA to discuss what it takes to make all-electric buildings scalable, financeable, and repeatable in New York.
Hosted at 505 State Street, NYC’s first all-electric residential skyscraper, the conversation will focus on practical lessons from real projects, including development feasibility, financing, policy drivers, design decisions, implementation challenges, and the path from pilot projects to normal market practice.
