HACK FOR HUMANITY: FALL 2026
Come Hack for Humanity! A fast-paced, six-hour, in-person AI "vibe coding" event where multidisciplinary teams build and pitch practical solutions to problems affecting Connecticut. A continuation of the Humans in AI Week conversations we held this summer, where we identified real problems in our local community... and now is our chance to build the solutions.

The focus here is exactly what the name says. Every problem statement and every project should solve something local to your community, with the purpose of benefiting humanity.

Where Help Doesn't Reach — map where social services are most needed to help drive change
The Last Mile of Food Access — build a tool that helps get food where it's needed most
Student Life Beyond the Classroom — create a searchable database for student resources, entertainment, and more
CTData.org, Made Conversational — make CTData.org more accessible through conversational interfaces
Open Challenge — bring your own Connecticut civic problem
All types of builders are welcome at this event. The winners of this event may be asked to showcase their products within our global newsletter with 300k+ subscribers!
