About Event

When man began to realize that we could no longer reach the potential of God, when man's faith was collapsing, when perfection was no longer attainable, when society was burning in flames, when the old rules were no longer relevant and new structures had yet to be constructed, what would happen to the art world?

This time, we will pick up where our previous tour of Early and High Renaissance art left off, continuing our journey into the Late Renaissance and Mannerism.

This Saturday also marks an exciting milestone for the New York Philosophy Club, as we will host two simultaneous tours at the Met for the very first time!

The program will include three 30-minute conversations, with participants divided into groups of 3–4 for each session. Through structured prompts and brief introductions before each conversation, participants will be invited to engage with the artworks through philosophical reflection and personal interpretation.
