Hands-On Workshop | Build with Open Payments API

​Join us for an industry-led hands-on workshop on building with Open Payments: the open-source API behind modern digital payment systems.

​Led by Bibi Souza, a developer-turned-community-leader from the Interledger Foundation, this session will walk you through building a functioning payment application from scratch.

​In this interactive session, you will:

​✅ Learn how digital payments actually work under the hood
✅ Clone a real open-source repo, set up your environment, and run a project locally
✅ Code along to build a working mini payment app using the Open Payments API
✅ Gain your first hands-on experience contributing to an open-source project

  • ​Create a test wallet with money (instructions provided)

  • ​Clone the Open Payments repo

  • ​Set up environment variables
