TAYO NA Sa Sari-Sari Store Magazine Launch Party @ Austin Studio Tour
Join us for the launch party of TAYO NA Sa Sari-Sari Store, the third edition of TAYO NA, a magazine highlighting Austin Filipino artists and makers. ✨ If you're registered, you're welcome to pick up a free copy of the magazine while at the event. ✨
Alongside the launch, we're hosting an immersive two-day indoor vendor market and art gallery.
📅 November 14 and 15 📍 Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex, 1156 Hargrave St, Austin, TX 78702
TAYO NA ("Let's Go") is a printed, heartfelt editorial magazine created and photographed by Joi Conti, a Filipino American editorial and fashion photographer living in Austin, Texas, with layout and design by Lisa Crawford, a Filipino American illustrator and designer also based in Austin. Together, this 40-page, 5x7 inch magazine captures the community spirit of the metropolitan city's thriving Filipino creative scene.
This year's launch party is produced by Asian Season ATX, bringing the immersive vendor market and gallery experience to life alongside the magazine.
For our third edition launch, we're going bigger: the entire space reimagines a traditional sari-sari store through the TAYO NA lens, an artist-led immersive world rooted in kapwa (shared identity) and bayanihan (collective care). Step inside a large indoor artist and vendor market and an indoor immersive gallery filled with Filipino art, culture, and creativity, all under one roof.
Come rain or shine, we've got you covered indoors. The market, gallery, and launch party are all under one roof, with food trucks and hot food vendors just outside to keep you fed. About 200 free parking spots on site, not even counting the surrounding neighborhood, make getting here easy.
All are welcome!
This family-friendly event is free and open to everyone, whether you're based in Austin or traveling in to celebrate with us.
Don't miss this chance to experience our community's artistry, culture, and creativity in one immersive space.
Tayo na! Let's go!
