Urban Kakis: Climate Fresk Workshop
Climate Fresk Workshop with Urban Kakis 🌿
Curious about climate change and how it connects to the city, but not sure where to start? Join us for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where we learn, reflect, and think through it together.
Climate Fresk is a fun, interactive experience grounded in research from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Working in small groups, you’ll piece together a set of illustrated cards to map out how climate systems are connected—like solving a puzzle as a team. No prior knowledge needed, just come as you are.
🌏 What we’ll do together
Build a visual “fresk” of climate cause-and-effect relationships
Talk about how climate change shows up in cities like Singapore (think heat, flooding, infrastructure, everyday life)
Reflect, share, and sit with what we’re feeling
Explore what climate action can look like across individuals, communities, and systems
Brainstorm practical, locally grounded ideas with others in the room
There’s a mix of discussion, creativity, and collaborative thinking.
🧠 What you’ll takeaway
A clearer, more grounded understanding of climate change
A way to see the “big picture” without feeling overwhelmed
A sense of connection, and hopefully, a bit more agency in what comes next
