​THIRD PLACE SALON — SHOW & TELL

​You decide. What to bring. What to show. How to tell it.

​Third Place Salon is our Thursday gathering for stories and the people behind them.

​The idea takes inspiration from the old tradition of the salon: gatherings that became especially influential in the 17th and 18th centuries, bringing together writers, artists, thinkers and curious minds to exchange ideas, share their work and meet one another.

​We're borrowing that spirit and creating our own contemporary version in Stockholm.

​And we begin with Show & Tell.

​What is Show & Tell?

​Bring something you want other people to discover.

​It could be something you made, wrote, designed, photographed, painted, built, collected, found or are still working on. A piece of art, an object with a story, a photograph, a short piece of music, a prototype, an experiment, a poem, an unfinished idea — or something we haven't thought of.

​You don't have to call yourself an artist. And there isn't one correct way to present.

​You decide what to bring.
You decide what to show.
You decide how to tell it.

​Tell us its story. Perform it. Read it. Project it. Play it. Pass it around. Ask the room a question. Make us curious.

​If you'd like to present something, contact Third Place in advance so we can include you in the evening's line-up. You can also simply come along to listen, discover, meet people and be part of the conversation.

​The evening isn't only about presentations. There'll be plenty of time to mingle, talk, make new friends and continue the conversations that start in the room.

​Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the evening.

​Entrance: 50 SEK
The small entrance fee helps cover the organisation of the evening and supports the people putting their time and effort into making these gatherings possible.
