Clam Bayou Shoal Grass Planting
Join Seaworthy Collective, Ecosphere Restoration, and Florida for Good Tampa Bay for a special morning of hands-on coastal restoration at Clam Bayou. 🌱🌊
We’ll gather early to help plant approximately 700 shoal grass plants, supporting ongoing efforts to restore and strengthen this important Tampa Bay coastal ecosystem.
Working alongside the Ecosphere Restoration team, volunteers will learn about the role shoal grass plays in healthy estuarine habitats and then head into the field for a few hours of guided planting. No previous restoration experience is necessary; technical direction will be provided throughout the morning.
This will be a small, hands-on gathering of community partners, supporters, and volunteers who are excited to roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to the health of Tampa Bay.

Coffee and light morning snacks will be available before we get started.
Because planting conditions are tied closely to the tides, we’ll be starting bright and early to take advantage of the morning low tide. Additional information about the exact meeting location, parking, what to wear, and day-of instructions will be shared with confirmed attendees ahead of the event.
Let's get a little muddy and help put some roots down for a healthier Tampa Bay! 💚
