About the Event
Join us for the final showcase of the Ottawa Defence Tech Hackathon, where ten finalist teams will present their real-time drone audio detection systems – tools designed to identify and classify small unmanned aerial systems (Class 1 UAS) by sound.
Over the weekend, participants have developed software that can distinguish drones from background noise using acoustic signatures – the same way Shazam recognizes songs. The final event will feature live demonstrations, judging, and awards.
