Green Drinks x Women+ In Green San Diego
Join San Diego Green Drinks and Women+ in Green San Diego for a networking mixer on Thursday, June 4! We will hear a brief presentation from the founders of OutspireX who own and run a CPG business that creates outdoor gear from upcycled paragliding parachutes.
Green Drinks events are free, casual, and fun networking events to meet likeminded individuals in the environmental sustainability space. Come solo or with others - we hope to see you there!
WHEN: Thursday, June 4th from 6-8pm
WHERE: Bivouac Ciderworks Adventure Lodge
TRANSIT and PARKING: The Green trolley line is 5 minute walk away. NOVO is at the Mission Valley mall, so there is ample parking.
FOOD and DRINK: Food and variety alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
About Green Drinks:
San Diego Green Drinks (SDGD) is a monthly networking group for professionals or individuals interested in the sustainability field. We typically meet on the third Thursday of each month at a local bar to discuss different environmental issues with a speaker followed by open networking. These events are casual, drinking is optional, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
About Women+ in Green San Diego:
Women+ in Green San Diego is a platform for quarterly events designed to strengthen the message of equality and empower people of marginalized genders in the green building and sustainability sectors.
Event topics range from leadership to self-development and understanding equality gaps in the green building sector. This committee was inspired by the national movement and Women in Green conversations taking place in USGBC communities around the country. In San Diego, the committee is led by our volunteers and local leaders in the green building movement.
Women + in Green is a safe space. We create inclusive and warm environments for our community. We welcome people of all gender identities and expressions at our events. Please note that while many of our educational events center on women's experiences, our goal is to hold conversations for all people who have experienced misogyny. We seek to empower those who need it most.
