Hands-on workshop: Building Next Generation Agents with MCP and Next Generation Agentic UX powered by MCP UI
Join the Obot AI & MCP-UI teams for a two-part hands-on session where we will build next generation AI agents that work as MCP servers and can provide rich, graphical interfaces using MCP UI. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the Model Context Protocol, insights on MCP Agents and hands-on understanding of how to build with MCP-UI.
What you’ll learn
MCP fundamentals: Tooling, security, and best-practice for building best-in class MCP servers.
Overview of MCP Agents: Including system prompts, memory, knowledge, and tool management.
MCP-UI best practices: including current MCP-UI capabilities, and an overview of the project roadmap.
Observability & safety: A quick overview of MCP operations, including monitoring, security and hosting.
Who should attend
Product engineers, AI tool designers, and platform/ML engineers building agentic features (or evaluating MCP for their stack).

Format: Short talks → guided build → discussion
Prereqs: Intermediate JavaScript/TypeScript, Node 18+, Git, and a modern package manager
Setup: Laptop with dev environment encouraged, but not required
