AI on Rails

​AI Tinkerers Paris and ParisRB.new are teaming up for a night of live Ruby and AI in action, hosted at the Paris office of Algolia. The whole vibe is Show, Don't Tell: no pitch decks, no polished slide shows, just working code, open terminals, and honest walkthroughs of how people are actually weaving LLMs and agentic workflows into Ruby and Rails projects. Expect demos that go deep into the stack, from prompt engineering and vector search to the messy bits that are still half-broken.

​Alongside the main stage demos, there will be a Science Fair running during the networking breaks, inspired by the old Homebrew Computer Club spirit. Set up your laptop, walk people through your codebase, run something local, and get real feedback from people who will actually understand what you built. Spots are capped at 100 and registrations are screened manually, so make sure your profile has links to your GitHub, LinkedIn, or portfolio. One entry note worth saving: come in through 3-5 rue de Bucarest, not the rue d'Amsterdam entrance that tends to show up on maps. See you there.
