Vanquour Wealth Management Presents:
A Candid Conversation with:
Chris Lu has held some of the most senior positions in the U.S. government, across both domestic and foreign policy. Under President Biden, he was U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for Management and Reform. Under President Obama, he served as Deputy Secretary of Labor and White House Cabinet Secretary. Earlier, he was Legislative Director and Acting Chief of Staff to then-Senator Obama and Executive Director of the 2008 Obama-Biden presidential transition. One of the highest-ranking Asian Americans ever to serve in the federal government, he is now the James R. Schlesinger Distinguished Professor at the University of Virginia's Miller Center.
Lu Zhou is the Founder and CEO of Vanquour Wealth Management on the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Clearing & Custody platform and the only female CEO within RBC’s Wealth Management network. As a global advocate for women and economic empowerment, she works at the intersection of capital markets and public policy to address one of the defining shifts of our time: the unprecedented transfer of wealth into women’s hands. Lu advances structural solutions to close the gender wealth gap, expand women’s leadership in asset management, strengthen financial literacy across generations, and mobilize institutional capital to drive inclusive growth.
Followed by a networking cocktail reception.
