Lakefront Perspectives #1
Lakefront Perspectives is a new monthly series of public sensemaking conversations at Emerge Lakefront, bridging polarities through dialogue, not debate.
Two movements. One conversation.
The IDG ecosystem has spent years building frameworks for inner human development. The Spirit Tech world is building tools at the intersection of technology and consciousness. Both are working on the same underlying question, but they've rarely been in the same room.
Lakefront Perspectives #1 brings Erik Fernholm and Edward Vaisberg together to find common language, sit honestly in difference, and sensemake what a shared future might look like.
This is for anyone curious about where inner development and technology are heading, and what becomes possible when the two worlds start building together.
The speakers
Erik Fernholm is co-founder of the Inner Development Goals and the 29k Foundation — 15 years bridging cognitive neuroscience and human flourishing into one of the world's most influential inner development frameworks.
Edward Vaisberg is founder of the Spirit Tech Collective on a mission to 50x the funding and talent flowing into scalable, science-backed technologies for spiritual development.
Moderated by Pamela von Sabljar — facilitator, author, IDG Ambassador Programme co-facilitator, and Emerge Lakefront resident.
