Roam Free: A Wildlife & Climate Trivia Night
North America’s wildlife is on the move. As the climate changes, species from bighorn sheep to mountain lions must traverse vast distances to survive, yet they are increasingly hemmed in by a grid of asphalt and steel. Wildlife crossings and wildlife-informed community planning represent a critical frontier in nature-based solutions -- restoring the biological "highways" that allow ecosystems to remain resilient and biodiverse.
Come test what you know (and learn what you don't) about how infrastructure policy, wildlife biology, and climate adaptation are linked through a vision of continental rewilding through a free trivia night hosted by Wildlands Network, the nonprofit connecting wildlands across North America so nature can thrive on its own terms.
The evening will include:
An intro to wildlife corridors and why they matter for conservation, biodiversity, and climate resilience
Competitive (but chill) trivia w/ fun prizes — all levels welcome
A chance to hear about Wildlands Network's work and how you can plug in
Food, drinks, and good company at a cozy SF bar (free drink for first 35 attendees who RSVP!)
