Silicon Oasis Hacks x GCU

Silicon Oasis, in partnership with Grand Canyon University and GCU Canyon Ventures, is launching Silicon Oasis Hacks, a two-day hackathon designed to inspire Arizona's next generation of technology entrepreneurs.
The inaugural event will bring together 75 students across 15 teams to tackle one ambitious challenge: Build a venture-scalable AI software company.
Over two days, participants will collaborate, develop innovative software solutions, receive mentorship from experienced founders and industry professionals, and turn their ideas into working prototypes with viable business models.
On Saturday afternoon, Silicon Oasis Ambassadors will evaluate all 15 teams and select the five most promising startups to compete in a live Demo Day. Each finalist will pitch their company to an audience of investors, entrepreneurs, executives, and community leaders.
The competition will conclude with cash prizes, recognizing two outstanding teams.
Beyond the competition, Silicon Oasis Hacks aims to connect Arizona's emerging technical talent with the people, resources, and opportunities needed to build successful companies right here in Arizona.
