Barcelona Techies Thursday: How to Secure Millions in EU Grants 💰📊🇪🇺
🔥 HEY BARCELONA TECHIES! 🔥
Welcome to the most high-end, high-energy weekly meetup in the city — the ROOFTOP TECHIES NIGHT.
Forget your typical expat nights.
Forget loud bars and random mixers.
Here, every conversation matters.
This is where ambitious locals and international professionals meet to truly connect, collaborate, and create — blending TECH, SCIENCE, and ART under the Mediterranean sunset.
Dr. Diana Deca, EU Commission expert evaluator for EIC Accelerator (deep-tech spinoffs, €2.5-10M grants within Horizon Europe's €95B framework) and Eureka (€150-330M annual network), PhD neurobiologist (Max Planck/NTNU), and VC-backed tech founder (neurobotx, Boeing-partnered), shares a simple overview: funding options, requirements, building winning applications, product ideas, and consortia.

🌇 WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
We’re not a random meetup or a social crowd.
Our community is HIGHLY CURATED — made up of founders, engineers, scientists, creatives, and leaders shaping Barcelona’s innovation scene.
No loud-music chaos. No awkward small talk. No hookup energy. Just authentic, intelligent people building something meaningful together.
🚀 Expect to meet:
Pioneers from FORTUNE 500 tech companies (Meta, Google, Apple, Amazon, Tesla)
Researchers from Barcelona’s top institutions (BSC, IRB, UPF, UB, UPC)
Artists, musicians, and designers blending creativity with technology
It’s the kind of energy you only get when everyone in the room belongs there.
