Speaker's Bio:
Pankaj Jiwrajka is a development professional with over 15 years of experience working across government, development, and not-for-profit sectors. He currently serves as an Associate Director with the Air Pollution Action Group (A-PAG), supporting the implementation of the Government of India’s National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) in collaboration with the Central Pollution Control Board.
His work focuses on strengthening air-quality governance, supporting city- and state-level action, and translating policy priorities into effective on-ground implementation. Previously, Pankaj has worked with the Transforming Rural India Foundation and the Government of Jharkhand, where he led initiatives spanning rural development, partnerships, public health, and community-based programmes.
Pankaj brings a strong systems perspective to the challenge of air pollution, combining public policy, implementation experience, and stakeholder engagement to advance practical solutions for cleaner air.
