About Event

“Beauty will be convulsive or will not be at all.” — André Breton

Breton’s words remind us that true beauty arises from breaking conventions and embracing the unknown. They invite us to expand our gaze, to explore new and unexpected territories of aesthetics. This call feels more urgent than ever in a world shaped by ecological, geopolitical, and technological upheavals; not least the transformative rise of artificial intelligence.

Improbable Beauty presents a collection of visionary art works created by students from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and other institutions including Stanford University, ESCP Business School, and ENSAD.

Through the Art Thinking method — a creative process that transforms uncertainty into creations — they have imagined improbable artefacts that challenge our understanding of beauty today.

Join us for this vernissage to experience beauty as an act of resistance, reinvention, and renewal.
