Whether you’re building pipelines, platforms, or data systems for AI, this meetup is designed for practitioners who want to learn, share, and connect.
Our goal is to bring together the data engineering community in Hamburg to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and connect with others working on similar challenges.
Every meetup features short technical talks from practitioners, followed by discussion and informal networking. Expect conversations about real systems, real problems, and sometimes the occasional pipeline horror story.
Typical topics include:
Data platform architecture
Data pipelines and infrastructure
Streaming and real-time systems
Lakehouse and modern data stacks
Data engineering for AI and production ML systems
Operating data systems in production

Location
The meetup takes place at the Deep Tech Campus in Hamburg.
The campus brings together founders, engineers, researchers, and investors working on advanced technologies such as AI, robotics, and data systems — making it a great setting to connect people building the next generation of technical platforms.
Format
We host 3–4 meetups per year.
Each event includes:
• arrival, drinks & pizza
• 2–3 technical talks (~20-30 min)
• Q&A and discussion
• networking with drinks
The focus is on practical engineering experience — not vendor slides.
