Pet Rock Party
Get ready for a rockin’ good time! In this fun and creative art workshop, kids ages 8–11 will turn ordinary rocks into adorable, silly, colorful pet rocks!
Each artist will get to design and paint 2–3 rocks, bringing their own imagination to life. Will your pet rock be a cute animal, a funny character, a magical creature, or something totally unique? The possibilities are endless!
Kids will have fun experimenting with colors, patterns, faces, and creative details. We’ll use acrylic paint, paint markers, glue, and a variety of fun accessories to give each pet rock its own personality.
At the end of the party, everyone gets to take their new little rock pets home!
Who: Young makers and art enthusiasts, ages 8–11
Where: Some Good Wine — 13 E. 8th Street, between 5th Avenue and University Place
When: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
What to Expect: An artist example study, a short demonstration, guided creative time, a group critique, and a finished work of art to take home.
