About Event

The Connect Bay Area and Stronger Muni for All campaigns will be attending the SF YIMBY Monthly Meeting (alongside a few candidate campaigns) to present about the measures and set up interested people to gather signatures.

All are welcome to stop by before the official program starts, between 6-6:30pm, for petition exchange and mingling. We will have April petitions for both Connect Bay Area and (updated versions of) Stronger Muni for All.

Everyone is also welcome to stay for the program itself if you want to join with SF YIMBY in hearing about Connect Bay Area and Stronger Muni for All ballot measures, and also hear from other campaigns who SF YIMBY has invited to speak. We will offer a signature gathering training near the end of the overall program (which goes from 6:30-8:30pm).

The event is at the YES SF headquarters. Please note, you'll need to enter via the door on Bush St (corner of Montgomery), even though the address is 220 Montgomery.

If you plan to stay for the full program, please also RSVP with SF YIMBY.

No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures.  If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!

***

San Francisco needs to pass both the Stronger Muni for All (San Francisco parcel tax) and Connect Bay Area (five-county sales tax) transit measures in November to prevent service cuts, and you can gather signatures for both at the same time! We will have both petitions available at this event.
