AI-Assisted Dental Record Keeping: An Evidence-Based Framework for the Ontario Clinician with Dr. Kevin Zhou (1 CE credit)

​Artificial intelligence is entering the operatory fast — and dental records are usually the first workflow it touches. But AI tools do not change clinician accountability under the RCDSO Dental Record Keeping Standard. This session gives Ontario dentists an evidence-based framework for understanding how AI documentation tools work, where they fit within existing regulatory and medicolegal obligations, and how to evaluate any tool before adopting it into practice. Attendees will leave with a practical, vendor-neutral checklist (the CHART framework) and a hands-on understanding of how ambient scribe technology actually works under the hood.
