About Event

AI Safety Night SF: From Multimodal to Physical AI

Join us for another AI Safety Night in San Francisco! After a sold-out first edition with 150+ attendees (https://luma.com/acywrxdj), we’re back with a new theme and a new format.

AI is moving from seeing and hearing, to acting on screens, to acting in the physical world, and each step changes what “safe” means. This evening brings together people working on safety across that whole arc, from multimodal models and AI agents to robotics and embodied AI.

🎨 Gallery venue at The Art of San Francisco, Embarcadero
🍣 Sushi, food & drinks throughout the evening
🖼️ NEW: Poster session. Bring your work!

[Call for Posters]

Share your work with the SF AI safety community! Papers, projects, tools, demos, insights from the field, and work in progress are all welcome, as long as it addresses safety, security, or evaluation.

  • 👁️ Multimodal Safety: jailbreaks, visual prompt injection, multimodal benchmarks

  • 💻 Agent Safety: prompt injection, unsafe actions, agent oversight

  • 🤖 Physical AI Safety: robot and VLA safety evaluation, attacks on embodied systems, runtime guardrails

Bring your poster printed (24×36 in recommended); easels are provided. 5 posters will get a spotlight talk on stage, and every submission (with your permission) will be featured in our online poster gallery.

👉 Submit by Sat, Oct 17 (11:59 PM PT):

We review on a rolling basis and will confirm selected presenters by Sun, Oct 18. Selected presenters get a guaranteed spot, but please register here on Luma as well.
