About Event

Toronto AI Safety Day

Artificial Intelligence is advancing at a rapid pace, transforming industries and reshaping society. But with great power comes great responsibility. How do we ensure AI is developed and deployed safely, ethically, and in ways that benefit humanity?

This event is also held in tribute to Petrov Day, a reminder of the importance of foresight, responsibility, and human judgment in moments of high stakes.

We’d like to thank TrajectoryLabs.org & Luella.ai for providing the space and making this event possible .

Join us for an engaging evening on AI Safety, where we’ll explore the key challenges, opportunities, and frameworks shaping the future of responsible AI. The program will include a short talk followed by breakout discussion groups—a chance to dive deeper, share perspectives, and learn from one another. Whether you’re a technologist, policymaker, researcher, or simply curious about AI’s impact, this is a space for thoughtful dialogue and collective exploration.

    Sponsors:
Thanks to Luella.ai for sponsoring this event. Luella is a Toronto-based startup bringing responsible AI to sales teams.

We’ve seen how AI-generated spam and reckless automation are eroding trust, and how giving AI agents more access to sensitive internal data creates new vulnerabilities. Luella is building guardrails that prioritize human oversight, automation limits, and observability, reinforcing the ethical boundaries of how AI and automation should be applied in sales.
