Machine Cinema “GenDojo” Community Call - 5/21 10am PT
Hey everyone,
This Wednesday 10-11am PT is our weekly digital get together to connect on how we are all making our way through this new era for creative industries and AI among other emergent technologies, sharing ideas, tips, knowledge amongst ourselves.
Our group is an amazing mix of creators/producers/builders/some new to this stuff/ some OG/ all of us constantly learning.
You can join however you want - camera on, camera off. It's ok if you just want to listen, but it's more fun if you participate. We usually meet every two weeks.
This week we'll be joined by:
Jagger Waters, Writer, Producer and AI Creator. She's on the Curious Refuge and Escape.Ai content teams and she'll share her unique perspective sitting inside these two growing institutions in the nascent GenAI space. Just back from her trip to Cannes, she'll offer some insights on how the traditional world is digesting GenAI Filmmaking's arrival, and if we''re lucky also offer some insight from the current writer's room she's in for the "A.I. Renard Jenkins, one of the coolest multi-hyphenates you could meet in the space. HPA President, past SMPTE Prez, technologist and President and CEO of I2A2 Studios and Labs. He was the Keynote speaker at last year's AI on the Lot, making everyone in the room a bit smarter about the intersection of AI and the Film biz. He's working on some new research that he'll share and we'll try our hand at some live polling to contribute!
