​We're back for another fun night at Truffles n Bacon! Let's make this one a truly relaxed OPEN PLAY - no formal format, no raffle play or points structure. Feel free to play Filipino mahjong, Hong Kong, or any other version your table agrees on!

​​FAQ

​​Q: I’ve never played mahjong before - are all levels welcome?

​​A: Beginners are welcome, but we HIGHLY encourage attending players to have basic knowledge of the game. Terri and Suzy will be floating around to provide light guided play if needed. HOWEVER, we will NOT have instructors by your side teaching step-by-step 101 instructions. If you’re looking for more of a guided beginner workshop, we recommend attending one of our Beginners 101 Mahjong sessions FIRST.

​​Q: I’ve played mahjong a few times, but I’m not confident yet. Will I be seated with super fast experienced players?

​​A: Not to worry! We will seat you by comfort level and pair you with supportive patient players. If you do play like a pro, we’ll seat you with other quick players too.

​​Q: Can my friends and I register a full table?

​​A: Absolutely! Have your friends sign our waitlist and we'll send them an invite. Seats will ONLY be sold via the waitlist.

​​Q: Can we bring our own mahjong tile set?

​​A: Yes!

​​Q: Can we play mahjong and gamble?

​​A: No gambling. Sorry, we wish we had the license for that!

​​Q: Do we have to play Filipino Mahjong only?

​​A: Not at all! If you and your table know how to play Hong Kong or any other style of mahjong, go for it!

​​Q: What if my plans change and I am unable to attend?

​​A: Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be applied to a future date - but you can transfer your seat to someone else up to 3 days before the event (noon, Apr 15th). Just email us the replacement guest’s name + email + IG handle. We will be unable to accommodate changes after this deadline.
