Our Agenda for January 20th, 2026
5pm-6pm: Arrival, open networking with participants.
6pm: We will have the privilege of hearing from the following panelists.
First on the evening of January 20th, Christopher Sebes is a widely respected restaurant technology entrepreneur, CEO, advisor, and investor who has dedicated his career to advancing innovation in hospitality. He founded several influential companies, including Twenty20 Visual Systems, the first-ever Microsoft Windows POS company which was sold to Radiant Systems in 1998, Xpient Solution, where he served as CEO until its sale to Heartland Payments in late 2014, and Xenial - platforms that have shaped the technology infrastructure for many of the world’s leading restaurant brands. Having stepped away from Global Payments in mid 2019, today he continues to advise and invest in emerging restaurant tech ventures, sharing his deep expertise in strategy and digital transformation across the industry.
We are delighted to have Glenn back at Naples Tech Meetup in January 2026, to share important milestones in the company’s growth. We’ll be celebrating these achievements with him on the evening of the event. Glenn Shimkus is the co-founder and CEO of Prisidio, a digital vault designed to securely collect, protect, and share your most important information with the key people in your life. A technology enthusiast and seasoned entrepreneur, Glenn brings nearly 30 years of experience building world-class teams and delivering exceptional products. Prior to founding Prisidio, he co-founded Cartavi, which became DocuSign’s first acquisition - an achievement highlighted by the product earning the prestigious Edison Award for Innovative Services. At DocuSign, Glenn played a pivotal role in establishing the company as the standard in the real estate industry and driving its expansion beyond eSignatures.
Finally, we are joined again with one of Florida’s leading voices in venture investing, Timothy J. Cartwright. Tim is a Partner and Co-Founder of Fifth Avenue Family Office and Chair of the Tamiami Angel Funds. With decades of experience in M&A, corporate restructuring, and entrepreneurship, he brings deep insight into building and scaling high-potential ventures. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Tim’s startup experience includes CEO and Co-Founder of By-Products Interactive which he sold to Euromoney Institutional Investor, a FTSE 250 Public Company and Benchmark Solutions. Mr. Cartwright recently completed a 12-year term as a member of the Florida Gulf Coast University’s Foundation Board, finishing as Chair of the Board. During this time, he was a prime mover in starting the Institute for Entrepreneurship which grew into the DK School of Entrepreneurship at FGCU where he served as Adjunct Professor for six semesters. Beyond his business endeavors, he remains deeply engaged in his community, serving on several boards across Florida’s entrepreneurial and civic ecosystem.
The session is moderated by your host, the Espresso Ventures founder, Sebastien Leduc. Sebastien is a Tech Entrepreneur, Advisor & Investor, passionate about helping exceptional entrepreneurs grow their venture and achieve their most ambitious objectives.

Naples Tech Meetups: 3 simple rules
1. Entrepreneurs First
Our objective is to help foster entrepreneurship and innovation in SWFL. We believe in community and synergy, to help existing and aspiring entrepreneurs build great companies from SWFL to the world.
2. Be Generous
We all have our businesses and projects to promote, but arrive to this group with an open mind and an objective to give to the community, first. Then magic happens.
3. Southern Hospitality
Be hospitable the Southern way. That's something that attracted many of us to relocate to our beautiful paradise of SWFL. Let's keep ourselves courteous, respectful, constructive with each other.
Looking forward to being your hosts,
Seb & Naomi
