Founders & Researchers: East Coast Meets the Bay
LightHouse has spent the past few months building a founder and builder community in Boston and Cambridge. Now, we’re bringing it to the Bay Area for the first time.
We’re putting together a small, curated evening for founders, researchers, and builders from the East Coast and the Bay Area. No panels, no pitch decks, and no packed room of strangers. Just good people, good conversations, and a chance to meet others who are building interesting things.
What to Expect
Meet people building across coasts: Connect with founders, researchers, and operators working across AI, fintech, robotics, and deep tech, with people coming from Boston, Cambridge, and the Bay Area.
Talk through something you're working on: Bring a problem you're stuck on, whether it's hiring, fundraising, product, or a technical decision, get another perspective from people who have been there.
Have real conversations: We’re keeping the room intentionally small so you can actually get to know the people around you, rather than collecting a room full of business cards.
Help us build what comes next: This is LightHouse’s first gathering in the Bay Area, and we’d love to meet the people who can help shape what our West Coast community becomes.

Who we are
LightHouse: LightHouse is a Boston-based community and hacker house built to bring ambitious people together. We create spaces where students, founders, builders, and young professionals can meet, exchange ideas, and discover opportunities together.
Akaba.ai: Abaka AI is a data platform for the AI industry, providing the human-in-the-loop data collection, annotation, and curated datasets that frontier AI labs train and evaluate on spanning image, video, 3D/4D, text, and RLHF, across autonomous vehicles, generative AI, and robotics. They're bringing that same builder's perspective to the room tonight.
