Clay Devis in North: Let's get it started!
✨ Purpose
You know what most GTM meetups look like. Thirty people in a room, someone gives a talk, everyone awkwardly swaps LinkedIn QR codes, you go home and forget about it by Thursday.
So I wanted to create something different.
Clay [club] Devis is a women-led offshoot of Clay Club North, backed by Clay and hosted in Manchester. Basically it's 10-15 women who work in marketing, sales, AI, RevOps, or GTM getting together over pizza and wine to actually talk shop. No keynotes. No panels. No one trying to sell you anything. Just a group of women who get it, in a room small enough to ask the question you'd never ask in a bigger, busier one.
This is the very first one. We're building it from scratch. So if you come, you're genuinely one of the founding members (and yes that does sound as cool as it is).
👀 Who Should Attend
This is for you if:
You work in GTM, marketing, sales, RevOps, or marketing ops and you're curious about AI tooling (even if you haven't touched any yet)
You've wanted a space that's yours from the start, rather than one you have to carve out
You've been meaning to look at Clay but haven't had anyone to explore it with
You want a peer group of women doing similar work in the North, not just another networking event where nothing actually happens
You're early in your career and want to hear how other women have navigated theirs. Or you're senior and want to pay that forward
You don't need to know what Clay is. You don't need to be technical. Honestly you just need to be curious.
💬 Vibe
Small. Personal. First-name basis. Chatham House rules (what's said in the room stays in the room).
Think less conference, more dinner party. There will be pizza, wine, and good chocolate. You'll know everyone's name by half six. Nobody is going to ask you to "pitch yourself" or do some awkward elevator intro round the table. Zero pressure to perform.
We're capping it at 15 so it actually feels like a conversation, not an audience.

18:35 - 19:15 - Networking, pizza, wine, and chocolate. Get to know the women in the room
19:15 - 19:55 - Shameema's roundtable - navigating and scaling careers in GTM. Not a talk. A proper conversation with a room of women who've been where you are

Jessica Rose | Host, Clay [club] Devis
Hosts Clay Club North, Manchester's Clay community for GTM practitioners and operators. She works across outbound strategy, CRM systems, and AI-assisted GTM at Engineered GTM, helping B2B teams build smarter revenue infrastructure. Clay [club] Devis is her vision to build a national women-focused community within the Clay ecosystem.
Shameema Komdar | Co-Host
Shameema leads Data and AI initiatives within the GTM Operations team at Thoughtworks. With experience spanning the marketing landscape, she brings a wealth of operational expertise and a curiosity for emerging technologies. A Clay builder since late 2025, she's passionate about turning data into action and fostering connections for women in tech.
