Wandering Wombs: Finissage & Performance
WANDERING WOMBS: Finissage & Performance
Join us for the finissage of WANDERING WOMBS, a duo exhibition by Puck Verkade and Tanja Ritterbex, at SOV Gallery, featuring a live performance by Glamanita Mascaria.
Performance start: 19:00
WANDERING WOMBS explores bodies, transformation, ecology, memory, and myth through speculative and intimate perspectives, moving through themes of interconnectedness, fluid identities, and more-than-human relations.
For the finissage, Glamanita Mascaria (the original forest diva who has been misunderstood for centuries) will take us on a mythopoetic journey deep underground, where mycelial mess shares the wisdom of our fruit body. A new ecological myth of remembrance for our troubled times: rooted in science, adorned with fantasy, and embellished with sequins.
