Unimicro Hackathon
Finally! The biggest and best Relentlessly hackathon so far, fueled by the great Unimicro!
We are giving away:
20,000 NOK divided among the most useful or interesting contributions.
Good contributions will be highlighted on stage at the Unimicro Conference in Grieghallen in September.
Exciting concepts can receive paid assignments from Unimicro or partners to realize the concept.
Relevant winners will receive advertising space in Unimicro's software for a given period.
The hackathon will run from 5th of September until 15th of September, and this luma-event is for the physical event during the hackathon where we work on the challenge together. Sign up here to the hackathon itself (you can submit your proposal digitally from wherever) and join this luma-event for the physical event in Bergen.
We will serve free pizza, give info about the challenge, have employees from Unimicro there, and you can buy beers or soda if you want.
Bring your laptop or whatever you use to problem solve!
The challenge
Build something cool for the accountant or business owner, based on Unimicro's open ecosystem.
The assignment can also be submitted in English. 18 year age limit for the physical event (there is no lower age limit for submitting contributions, but ensure that a contact person of 18 years of age is on your team and is the one who signs up).
Background for hackathon
Unimicro is working to create Norway's best accounting system. The users are accounting firms that have several clients they keep accounts for, or companies that keep accounts themselves. Unimicro has its own browser-based system “Unimicro”, but also develops the accounting systems DNB Regnskap, SpareBank 1 Regnskap, Eika Regnskap and Azets complete, based on the same core.
Unimicro has a completely open API. MCP functionality, as well as plugins, will also be released for the hackathon. Plugins will allow users to code their own functionality and views in the software. Unimicro also has a marketplace for integrations where anyone can apply to have their integration published. If there is a need from other customers to create an integration, you can also get paid to build it.
