HARD RESET PRESENTS: A sound bath & a guided discussion in Golden Gate Park
HARD RESET EVENTS are back with a sound bath in Golden Gate Park on Wednesday, 7/22, followed by a picnic and a guided discussion. This time, we're inviting tech professionals to relax, reflect, and relate in the throes of summer.
(For those who don't know, a sound bath is a guided meditation where you are immersed in deep sound vibrations designed by a professional — think about decompressing to your favorite music, but no lyrics and in nature.)
As the tech industry becomes more competitive and demanding than ever, our guided discussion will circulate themes of community amid an increasingly lonely work landscape, the dignity of work itself, and how we move forward while reckoning with the uncertainties of the future.
Let's settle our nervous systems with a sound bath before heading into a constructive & friendly chat. Everything with food and wine, of course!

What is Hard Reset?
Great question! Hard Reset is a tech newsletter featuring the journalism of Ariella Steinhorn, Alex Shultz, and JJ Lansing. We aim to focus on the experiences of tech workers, rather than tech founders, as the industry undergoes radical changes.
More than just a newsletter, we love to throw monthly events to build community among tech professionals in the Bay and beyond. The vibe isn't networking — we're all about asking questions, unplugging, and reconnecting after hours.
