About Event

An inspiring evening exploring what science, philosophy and economics reveal about happiness and what actually makes a good life.

We spend much of our lives pursuing what we believe will make us happy: success, money, relationships and achievement. But how good are we at knowing what actually makes life better?

Join Gina Azaric, founder of the Happiness Leadership Institute, and Erik Angner, Professor of Practical Philosophy at Stockholm University, for a thought-provoking conversation exploring the science of happiness and the assumptions that shape how we live, work and define success.

Drawing on Erik’s work at the intersection of philosophy, economics and wellbeing, we will explore a fundamental question: Are we chasing the right things or could a better understanding of happiness change the way we live?

You’ll explore:

• What science actually tells us about happiness and wellbeing
• What we often misunderstand about the good life
• How happiness can inform the choices we make about work, relationships and life

Following the conversation, there will be a Q&A and book signing with Erik of his latest book, How Economics Can Save the World: Simple Ideas to Solve Our Biggest Problems.

Guests are invited to stay, connect and continue the conversation. Dinner reservations will be available at Soho House before and after the event by emailing reception.stockholm@sohohouse.com.
