About Event

We invite you to be part of a vital day dedicated to exploring the potential emergence of artificial general intelligence (AGI) and global risks (GR).

This event, hosted by the Federation of American Scientists in partnership with the Future of Life Institute, will gather top experts from academia, industry, and government to tackle the pressing, large-scale risks that AGI may pose and to chart effective strategies for managing them.

Throughout the day, you will engage with leading voices in the field, dive into critical discussions on the nature of AGI, explore potential avenues for U.S. action regarding AGI, and better understand the ways AGI may impact the U.S.-China competitive landscape.

Each panel will kick off with insights from distinguished speakers, followed by an interactive Q&A session and a dynamic discussion with all attendees. This event will adhere to the Chatham House Rule, fostering open and candid dialogue.

Your expertise is crucial to these discussions and will play a significant role in shaping the safeguards we intend to explore against the emerging risks at this pivotal intersection.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to a crucial conversation—please RSVP at your earliest convenience, as space is limited!
