Creativity 4 Sustainability workshop

​This workshop is for students who are taking Creativity for Sustainability course as content for course's learning diary.

​In this special session, we’ll explore how constraints affect creativity. I will provide each participant with a drumstick as the main material. Within a limited time frame, your challenge is to design and build a small project of your choice using only what you are given.

​You’re free to keep your project simple and personal—think of something achievable and meaningful within the time. The goal is not perfection, but to experience how working within limits shapes your creative decisions.

​Note: Please come to the workshop with an idea of what you would possibly build. It helps if you bring a drawing with yourself.

​Along the way, you’ll get a friendly introduction to woodshop safety, basic hand tools, and simple finishing techniques. Most importantly, you’ll have material to reflect on for your learning diary.
