About Event

What does genuine connection—to our values, to each other, to the living world—have to do with leadership? Everything.

This free one-hour session invites women leaders across all fields to slow down, look forward, and reconnect with what brought them to this work. Through a guided visualisation of a future where we got everything right, followed by facilitated discussion, participants explore what their vision reveals about their values, their leadership, and the kind of connections they want to cultivate in their organisations, their communities, and beyond.

Lead with Connection is the second gathering of Rooted Leadership, a free summer series running May–August 2026 hosted by Restoring Sustainability. Each monthly session explores a different leadership theme through guided visioning and reflection. Participants are warmly welcome to join at any point — each session stands alone while contributing to a larger arc of community and growth.

Participants leave with a free Leadership Self-Assessment tool to continue the journey in their own time.

Intended attendees: Women in leadership roles across all sectors — climate, business, nonprofits, government, education, and beyond. No prior sustainability experience required.

Objectives: To create a grounded, generative space for women leaders to reconnect with their values and vision through guided visioning and facilitated reflection; to explore what leading with connection means in practice across sectors; and to introduce a reflective methodology participants can carry into their daily work and organisations.

Speaker: Tara A. Pierce, Executive Coach & Sustainability Strategist, Restoring Sustainability LLC
