We have always believed in the enduring power of paper and books. In this fragmented age, a small book provides structure to scattered thoughts and gives weight to floating emotions. It is our way of resisting oblivion—a "tiny order" we build for ourselves amidst the chaos.
在这次工坊中，我们将带你走进手工书艺术 (Book Arts)。你将学习如何通过不同的装帧技法，为你的故事、思想与记忆打造专属的容器。
In this workshop, we will immerse you in the world of Book Arts. You will learn how to create unique vessels for your stories, thoughts, and memories through various binding techniques.
我们将涵盖从极简到经典的多种形式：
We will cover a range of forms, from minimalist to classic:
折叠 (One-sheet folding): 两种无需缝合、仅靠折叠与裁剪创造的神奇结构。
小册子线装 (Pamphlet Stitch): 简洁优雅的入门级缝合。
风琴折 (Accordion Folding): 让书页像手风琴般延展，创造流动的视觉叙事。
中式线装 (Chinese Stab Binding): 学习稳固而具韵律感的经典东方缝合法。
它可以非常简单，也可以复杂到“挠头”。
It can be profoundly simple, or delightfully complex. But most importantly, it will be a one-of-a-kind creation, born from your own hands.
🎁 参与收获 | What You Will Take Away
一（套)手工书作品 (A (Collection) of Handmade Books): 你将亲手完成1-多本不同构造的小书，包括折叠书与线装书。
You will complete one to several (your choice!) )small books with different structures, including folded and stitched versions.装帧基础技艺 (Book Arts Basics): 了解纸张、折叠到手工缝合的核心装帧逻辑。The basic core logic of bookbinding, from paper handling and precision folding to hand-stitching.
创作的自由 (The Freedom to Create): 掌握这些基础后，也希望你可以随时在家为自己的诗歌、画作或笔记定制外壳。
Once you’ve learned these basics, we welcome you to customize covers for your poems, sketches, or notes anytime at home.
