Ready to build something awesome? 😏

Join us for an invite-only hackathon where creativity meets cutting-edge developer tools!

What's Lingo.dev?

Lingo.dev is an innovative devtool company HQed in San Francisco. It's backed by #1 tech accelerator in the world – Y Combinator – as well as by the founders of Dependabot, Supabase, and other awesome people. But most importantly, Lingo.dev is the team behind developer tools like Lingo.dev CLI, Lingo.dev Compiler, Lingo.dev MCP and more!

What's It About?

TLDR - React, Next.js, Supabase, Node.js, – and – Lingo.dev toolkit!

This is your chance to experiment, tinker, and create with the Lingo.dev ecosystem. Whether you're exploring the Lingo.dev CLI, pushing the limits of the Lingo.dev Compiler, integrating the Lingo.dev MCP or Lingo.dev CI/CD, or diving into other Lingo.dev tools - we want to see what you build.

Prizes 🎁

🥇 1st Place - Playstation 5 Pro

🥈 2nd Place - Premium gaming chair

🥉 3rd Place - Keychron mechanical keyboard

How You'll Be Judged

Our team will evaluate submissions based on:

  • Execution & effort - 40 pts

    • How well was this idea executed?

    • How much effort was put in?

    • Were any corners cut?

  • Presentation and socials - 20 pts

    • Demo video

    • Readme

    • Social posts

  • Originality and real-world utility - 40 pts

    • Is this idea original or is this a last minute addition of Lingo into some previously built project?

    • Is this project useful in real-world? How useful is it?

Just FYI: Projects like article/video summary, Figma plugins to translate UI components, real-time chat translations etc are common projects and you should aim to not make a "me too" project.

What to build and how to submit?

You'll create an empty and public github repo after the kickoff call (zoom meeting) and push new commits as you build your project.

  • It is completely open-ended meaning you can build anything

  • Go over our subreddit to see projects people have built in the past. Don't forget to also share what you've built as well!

  • Submission form will be released before the deadline.

  • The idea is to build something using Lingo.dev and have fun!

NOTE: Joining the Discord of Lingo.dev is mandatory and a qualifying criteria, failing which your candidature will be rejected. Make sure to join our Discord!

Ready to Join?

Spots are limited - we're keeping this one small and focused. If you've got an invite, we'd love to see what you create. ;)

Looking forward to seeing you there! 👋
