This gathering will begin with a short talk exploring why inner growth is foundational to navigating complexity and contributing meaningfully to human flourishing. Drawing on adult development theory, systems thinking, and her experience building developmental ecosystems across the US and Europe, Helen Tsim will share practical frameworks for expanding how leaders perceive, think, and operate.
The remainder of the session will shift into a playful and experiential workshop. Participants will engage in guided exercises designed to move beyond conceptual understanding and into lived, embodied experience. These practices are designed to stretch perception, expand capacity, and offer a direct experience of vertical development in action.

Helen Tsim is a Harvard-educated entrepreneur, educator, and developmental thinker working at the intersection of adult development, systems change, and human flourishing.
She is Executive Director of Emerge Institute, a developmental ecosystem supporting founders, technologists, and institutional leaders in expanding their capacity to navigate complexity and shape the future. She previously led Culture at OneProject, a think tank exploring the reimagining of governance, economic systems, and civilizational design from first principles. She also co-founded Emerge Lakefront in Sweden, a co-created residential community for 100 changemakers working on inner development for global systemic change.
