The fourth session will focus on 'Hum Dekhenge'
Participants will receive a copy of the poem and be encouraged to interact with the poetry, and interpret it. We will also cover the historical context of when the poem was written and what it spoke to, rendering both a universal as well as time specific framework interpretation of the poem.
This workshop will be led by Zahra Halepota:
Zahra has an academic background in Anthropology with a strong focus on Indo-Persian literary and visual cultures.
She holds a BSc in Anthropology from UCL, and a master's in Transcultural Studies from Heidelberg University. With an inter-disciplinary interest in Indo-Persian literature, she completed her thesis focusing on an ecological interpretation of Sindhi poetry.
She extensively studied Persian literature at Ca Foscari University, Venice. She is also an artist practicing Islamic Illumination and Persian miniature painting.
FYI: We typically operate a no refunds policy for our events.
